Hands-On PCCT

Join us for an intensive two‑day hands‑on course dedicated to Photon‑Counting CT (PCCT). Hosted at the Erasmus MC Education Center in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers, this program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and deepen your understanding of PCCT technology and its clinical applications.

Across both days, during mentored reading sessions, participants will review PCCT cases on dedicated workstations and explore advanced reconstruction techniques. On the 2nd day of the course participants will engage directly with real patient cases through a live connection to the PCCT scanner room with live scanning of patients. Expert radiologists and CT radiographers will guide participants through PCCT scan protocol set-up and optimizing patient individualized scan setting choices. Via the live audiovisual connection participants can view the scanner room, scanner operating console and communicate directly with the CT radiographers performing the scan. In addition, participants are welcome to visit the scanner room in person. 
 
This course is designed for radiologists, radiographers, and/or clinical physicists who want to elevate their expertise and translate advanced imaging technology into their clinical practice. A detailed description of the program can be found here
 
We especially encourage participants as a duo, e.g., one radiologist and one radiographer from the same hospital, to maximize learning and strengthen team‑based implementation.
